Its all about perspectives... Taking the optimist/pessimist glass for example, why should we choose a perspective: half-full vs. half-empty, when there are so many other choices to make.
We could fill the glass up, empty it and fill it with another liquid, change the cup...
So many different ways to look at a situation and we are only given 2 choices. Two static views of a never changing liquid filled cup... I know its a metaphor but still, its a sad one. J'y adhere pas.
